A photography series inspired by Sophie Calle, a French writer, photographer, installation artist, and conceptual artist. Her work frequently depicts human vulnerability, and examines identity and intimacy. She is recognized for her detective-like ability to follow strangers and investigate their private lives. Her photographic work often includes panels of text of her own writing. This projects explores the question “What If?”, what if I was a part of my family’s life before I was born, what If I’ve been there? At the day my grandma immigrated to Israel? At the day my parents got married? Or when my mom used to live in the UK? What would it feel like?

I wrote a short text about my thoughts and feelings while taking those photos.
